About the Homestead
​
​The exclusive feature of the Lithuanian region Švenčionys is its unique and wild nature slightly touched by human hands. The landscape of the region is varied and rich with hills, hollows and lakes, etched with bends of the Žeimena, the Lakaja, the Mera and the Peršokšna rivers as well as plenty of rivulets and dotted with barrows and mounds. Once visited the place attracts over and over again.
The homestead “Šaminiai“ is located nearby the Aukštaitija National Park in Švenčionys region and surrounded by forests and the lakes of Šaminiai, Juodynas and Žeimenis. “Šaminiai“ is an up-to-date homestead with modern conveniences where authentic elements reminding of our ancestry’s way of living are preserved. A fireplace and a stove in the homestead were built according to the old traditions with the help of elderly masters.
Nowadays one’s private life is highly appreciated, thus when coming here you will have an opportunity to take a rest and relax safely and be provided with privacy and comfort.
The homestead has a modern conference hall where all kinds of equipment necessary for conducting conferences are installed. There are comfortable bedrooms each of them containing a bathroom with a whirlpool bath (Jacuzzi). Moreover you can have a pleasant time in a steam bath and a recreation room sitting in front of the fire-place, or playing pool. While staying here you will have a possibility to fish, spend your time in the nature, visit the Aukštaitija National Park and other famous places, meet your friends, have family celebrations, or spend romantic evenings.
Guests are welcomed by the owners of the homestead during all the seasons.

Transport services are not included in the price.
